I doubt they think repetition is fun. But it is a good way to put minimal effort and time i.e. development money into a game to maximize your return.

Yes completely agree. A smart company would have maximized profit by building a loyal fan base guaranteeing sales for ten years. Now they just pissed most people off in the first three months of a supposed ten year game and most likely will have poor sales from here on out.

Yeah I will never buy an Activision or Bungie game again. I was dumb enough to buy the DLC pack when i bought the game. So I have one more DLC to go. If nothing is better by then and they keep ignoring their player base, I'm out for another game and never looking back. For now I'm just going to put up with it because I already spent the money and I don't have any other games I want to play.. There are a few coming out that I have an eye on.
