Anyone here ever quit a nicotine addiction?

What was your method of stopping?
Honestly, I'm asking this because I've wanted to quit chewing tobacco for a while, and I just don't know how I'm going to do it. I told myself I wasn't addicted until I tried stopping for the first time. It completely derailed me until I continued. That was about 3 years ago and I'm still packing. I started about 5 years ago, and while that doesn't sound like much, it's quite the toll on my wallet and dental health. My teeth just don't feel the same anymore. I can't sleep if I don't have a lip before bed. I don't mean for this to be a sob story, or attention whoring, I'm just seeking advice. Thank you.
The song is rap by the way, so if you detest the genre, don't click on it.

I've quit smoking for long periods of time before By setting goals like once I start working out again I'll quit smoking. Of course I stopped doing that since I starting smoking again couple months back and I work out so lel. What my friend did to cut down though was start e cigs there basically like nicotine gum it won't help you quit but it'll stop the craving and it's a better alternative especially compared to dip that shit gives you cancer faster than smoking.
