What if in Bungie Halo canon, the Chief dies (after already escaping from the Marathon universe and dying and becoming John-117) and now your soul moves on to become whoever the protagonist is in Destiny. Was that their whole hint-hint with the [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=68213981]planet[/url] at the end of the Legendary Ending of Halo 3?
