Maybe their next game will have ties to previous mythology (they seem to have done it before from your research). AI's in Bungie's games have always seeed to lead the player to something. Shinatama helped you in ONI Durandal send you to do his bidding Cortana, Auntie Dot, and Superintendent lead in some Halo games I think that if Bungie's next game has an AI, the AI will be very important to the story and leading the player's rescission.
