Dark Below initial impressions?
Hey all - I am at work all day and have a conflict tonight so won't be until Wednesday for me. First impressions? Anything I should make sure I do in a specific order to maximize the leveling up?

The story missions were a lot of fun, waves of enemies coming at you around blind corner kind of stuff, they were a blast. The strike was much harder than the ones that are out now, a much needed level of difficulty is now implemented. The Raid was a blast, we saved our Crota checkpoint for later in the week but will dump it tonight to go in and explore a bit. Overall it was well worth the 20.00 I spent, a large pizza costs the same price and lasts about 30 minutes. Overall I could not be happier with the new content, the tower gear for hunters is excellent, a huge step forward in design. Eris has some really cool stuff along with some sweet shaders. Overall I couldn't be happier with the DLC, it is going to provide hundreds of hours of enjoyment.

1 Reply3 story missions are very short even on the highest levels. Bit of a joke really but you get a nice new fusion rifle when finished. Some of the new areas in the dlc are nicely designed and they are "different". Looking forward to playing the strike next. Playing the missions on level 30 with my pre dlc weapons seems tougher but not impossible. So weapons are not as redundant as feared but you're going to naturally want the new stuff. Hunter vanguard gear is ugly with little effort on design. Played 2 new crucible maps on the moon and earth. The cauldron on the moon is close quarters and earth is a snipers paradise. Don't know why they bother with vehicles on it. So far so good. I don't feel cheated but I do wonder when it's appeal will run out if house of wolves is the same. Might not be enough to keep interest until the destiny 2 is released.

I LOVE IT I suggest doing it on heroic it goes from 28 to 30 i think and it makes it more intense and fun. if its too hard bring a buddy along. too much people bitchin about it tho
