I had 5 legendary engrams post patch. Of the 5 I got this:
(1) strange coin
(1) mote of light
(2) 2 ascendant energy
(1) Wizard 77 Fusion Rifle
5 engrams - ONE legendary item. That my friends is ridiculous. So I only had a 1 in 5 chance of getting something other than useless items for my legendary engrams?

You did not get strange coins. That is not possible as they are blues.

Strange coins are blue item rarity. They are not obtainable through legendary engrams. Only legendary and up.

I am sorry but you are not correct. I know exactly what I received. It was as I described above. I had only 5 engrams on my person. All 5 were legendary. And I received the coin, mote of light, 4 ascendant energy and a worthless Fusion Rifle.

You are providing false information. Seeing as strange coins are not in the Loot table for legendary engrams.

Edited by Bloody Str1ker: 12/9/2014 6:38:38 PMHmm...you know what...I have to apologize to you. I was wrong. The coin came the next round. It was an Ascendant Shard instead of a strange coin. Not that it makes me feel any better. The shards are worthless to me as I already had over 150 of them. Bottom line: YOU were 100% correct and I was 100% wrong. You cannot get a strange coin from legendary. I am sorry to have wasted our time arguing when I was wrong. Thank you for being cool about it though.
