Semantics aside, did the developers ever indicate you would replay the same uninteresting missions over and over, the only goal being to grind for gear? All I'm saying is that COD generally meets the expectations of its community. So far, Destiny massively over promises and under delivers, which is why some people are upset. When I expressed how disappointed I was with the missions to my friend he said he wasn't disappointed because he had no expectations because the first part was so lackluster. Can you honestly say that this "expansion" is what you hoped for?

I know many people who don't play cod any more since every game is practically an expansion. I knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought the game, and I'm not disappointed.

You're one of the few. I was expecting an amazing game.

You became attached to the hype and the pre alpha footage. I played the beta and knew the game would be almost exactly the same, but for 4 planets. The fault is your own.

Yeah, buyer beware. Lesson learned, I shouldn't expect great things from Bungie anymore. Oh well, hopefully their PvP continues to improve and they isolate it from the pve grind.

Beware any company's promises 2 years before a game releases. I really feel they did a fine job with the raid. All companies could use more actual beta testing though.

I've been playing Bungie games since Marathon in the 90's, it's a little hard not to trust a company with a proven track record like they had. The raid is what I expected more of this game to be like. They need some hard core QC though.

But Bungie is in bed with activision, and they only have one goal. To get into your wallet.
