Actually the 35$ expansion pass was technically purchased digitally. You had to input a code on the online store

Seriously? That's like buying a set of new clothes, wearing them on a date, then returning them. You can't play through all of the content, then realize you don't want it.

If you used the download code for the expansion pass online, then yes, that is a digital purchase.

Especially since you bought the guardian edition. That's your version of the game now and they aren't going to refund you for the "access pass," since you still have the small extras that come with it.

Totaly agrre with lailalo. The obvious cutdown of content in this game is straight up distasteful when they sell us back what we allready should have gotten. This is not a dlc its robbery. Shame i really do like the game and i will keep on playing, but i must say this leaves abit of a sour taste in my mouth. Its not fair to the players and its not fair to the industry and it is just not fair.

Cod offers you literally 4 maps and a zombie map on average dor a dlc price. FAR less content then this DLC, yet no ones up in arms over CODs dlc.

Well u cant really compare COD with an MMORPG, its supposed to be story driven too, not just a farmfest. Luckily the gameplay itself holds up to how cheated i feel by the campaign/story and i really feel that a DLC that i have to pay additional money for should hold alittle bit more weight than this one. As i said before its a cool game that i enjoy playing, and hopefully the new raid will make the dollars worth, i just feel bad for the players that are not really interested in the raid side of Destiny cause for them this DLC is accualy utterly worthless.

Compare Destiny to Defiance. Defiance was clearly stated to be a MMO. It plays way differently than Destiny in terms to limitations. 16 people in a world. That's not massive No trade systems. Super limited if you want to call it crafting/modding system By no means am I saying Defiance is a great game. I'm just pointing out the difference between a shooting game that actually is a MMO and one that has a 16 player online play service.

That first M in that anagram is where you lose it. If I start a Football league and it is only in the city im in. Then it by definition cant be the NFL because it isnt national. I will totally give you that its a multiplayer online game. But it isnt an MMO.

Actually it is not. Bungie itself on the box calls it a "next generation first person shooter" They may attempt to include some MMO elements, but that does not make it an MMO. Just like Diablo is not an MMO. If you can't have more than 12-16 people in any one "zone" then the game is not MMO.

I see nothing Massive about 12 players. And I see no open world with hundred of people in it. This is closer to Borderlands than ANY mmo
