What if they changed the Cryptarch's character.... same mechanic's and everything, just a different model. like a robot or female or whatever.. than you could find the original Cryptarch (whatever his name is) by the bar drinking and when you walk by him you can hear him say.. "Guess they let me go.... said my products weren't up to par"...
