I think a good solution to this would be to just make the vanguard and cruis vendors run off the same currency. Problem solved right there.
Then you could make it so the factions just run off there very own currency.

Agreed. Unless they make PvP stuff, no reason to block it from using both currencies. At least if they did that one could buy a weapon in a week instead of two.
