Honestly get out of this forum if you think farming PVE content for PVP gear is legit. You are just butthurt...
This doesn't have to do anything with more access its about reasons, that are so illogical to obtain PVP ARMOR WEAPONS with -blam!-ing trash patroling. Honestly?
PVP Crucible Gear was made for Crucible and not for you Vanguards...

I don't want your pvp crucible gear. I want access to the faction gear. You know, the gear from vendors that you do most/all patrols for. Whatever though. I guess I'll just hit he crucible and start chucking nades at my team mates and jumping in front of them when they start shooting rocket launches. What's gonna make it even more amusing is that one person "underperforming" can get a whole kicked/restarted. I'm not really gonna do this, but seeing that OP isn't alone in his disappointment, I'm sure some will. Imagine the rage of the pvp'ers when they can't even finish a game because "under performers" keep getting matches canceled. Should be interesting.

By that logic, anyone who ears any guns through drops in the Crucible should not use it in PvE.

There is no such thing as "PVP Crucible gear" in this game. It isn't like raid gear, it is just gear. I got my crucible scout rifle as a PVE drop. You can get faction weapons in both modes. You just can't buy them with Vanguard marks for some bizarre reason.

I wish they still had the materials trade in option. Honestly, it is the only way for me to get PvP gear. I have played Crucible on and off since the game came out and I have a total of 45'ish crucible points. I have Thorn, which required me to get 500 void points from kills and that was horribly painful for me. I would get in a game and get 3-4 kills, then get booted. I can't stay in a game to save my life... I always get the "bee" error code. It took me almost 2 weeks to get it due to disconnection errors.

Well if its bee code or other problems you can't blame it on PVP, Trust me if you really play pvp more you learn from it, it will make you a better player, Patiance and Time. You can get the Thorn bounty done in just 1 hour(pvp part), I did it already twice. I know it sucks if you don't have much void dmg, but nowdays everyone should have atleast 1-2 weapons. I am not sure what you mean by 45 points... because you gain 25 points when you win and 31 with nightfall buff If you mean marks.. yes indeed it takes abit. but after 120 games i had already over 200 or so.. dunno spend them all ._.

Yeah, I meant marks. Sorry about the confusion. I have only finished about 2 games of PvP because I always get booted out of the match from error codes. Before the update, I could turn in materials for the crucible marks to buy gear with. Now, the only option is to play PvP and hope I don't get error coded out. I have the Thorn bounty on my second character and I'm still getting kicked from every game. I usually play 3-5 games of crucible a week before I get infuriated by getting an error code which kicks me out of PvP.
