I agree with you to an extent. While it's so much easier and better to just use marks for materials I wish that was just an addition and not a replacement. The PvP isn't bad in this game, but what incentive is there to play it? 3 marks for a win and 2 for losing? No real incentive to win there PLUS the rewards are terrible(and that's putting it nicely). If they gave you 5 marks for a win and 2 for a loss with Tiger Strike rewards I'm betting people would flock to PvP.

  • Anyone know why they don't have CTF or a crap load more PvP maps? It is surprising that Bungie didn't release more maps from Day 1. Don't know why they didn't include big maps either. Vehicle combat would have been cool to use. Don't even talk about the spaceships not being used for some type of space battles. Give us Cabal/Vex/Fallen/other ship vs Guardian ship battle for PvP. I'll be down for that. Give us larger fireteams for big PvP maps. How about 6 player Fireteam for strikes? Everything in Destiny seems thin when you think about all the hype. I really thought the Story would be a lot longer, weapons and gear in the hundreds of options, over a dozen PvP maps, and huge DLC additions. $100 don't get the same bang for the buck these days I assume. Maybe games like Mass Effect, DC Universe Online, Borderlands, Skyrim, Fallout, Fable, Resistance Fall of Man, etc. skewed my expectations for Destiny.
