First off, nobody "works" for ANYTHING in a game. You PLAY a game for entertainment. Moving your fingers and thumbs is not work. Second, if you had *both* systems in place and "removed the rep and glimmer gains" things would be basically balanced. People who enjoy PvP wouldn't have to grind materials and people who prefer PvE wouldn't have to run crucible. Nobody losses anything and people get to continue playing the game in the manner they find most enjoyable. Consider this...
