Please tell me you realize the changes you're suggesting would make crucible play like CoD.

  • How would it make it like CoD? It would only balance all weapons to be on par with each other, as well as classes. CoD is in no way balanced (at least as far as last I played, back on BO2 and a slight bit of ghost), there are only a select few weapons that are really usable in it. These suggestions are more of a general outline though, the difference in fire rates, reload times, stability, and everything else will keep all the weapons different, yet keep them putting out an equal amount of damage in a set amount of time. To have it truly balanced, it needs to have damage set to do the same amount over a period of time, provided all shots are at the maximum potential between range and hit location. If you take all the guns and shoot them spot on for 60 seconds, they should do the same overall damage between the time for reloading and firing. If it is higher damage per shot, it should be less accurate with continued fire, and slower reload. Fast reloads and high accuracy would have lower damage per bullet. There would be a lot of things in play to have it truly balanced, but each weapon type would have a certain use, as a rock paper scissors effect. Currently, it has it to an extent, but there are bits that can be enhanced further to make it much more balanced.
