Downside is now, from what my pvper friend said is now he has had teams of afkers/dancers. In which has ruined team Pvp play for him. People just going afk in matches for marks cause there is no point to work for kills in Pvp cause you can get zero kills and get the best rewards. Mats for mark system just need a slight modification. Didn't need to be removed.
