My biggest issue with these whining posts is this: what the hell do you NEED from crucible vendors? Honestly I haven't spent a crucible mark since I started playing up until I could buy mats with them. I have a thirty and two 29s. Why would I want the legendaries they sell?? They can't get me to 30 and I get enough weapons from the raid/nightfalls/engrams or even the vanguard vendor that I don't need four extra legendary vendors. To summarize: YOU DON'T NEED CRUCIBLE MARKS.

 • If you don't play the Raid and/or have bad luck with weapon RNGs it makes perfect sense.... But then again nobody needs to play Destiny anyway....

 • I hate to say this but I will: if you don't raid or pvp you should probably just quit playing destiny. You aren't pvp you aren't truely pve I guess I just don't understand why you would want to play the most repetitive 3/4 of the game and skip out on the 1/4 that is, to me anyways, the best part.

 • Add matchmaking to raids and heroics and I'll try it sooner than later. What so many responders don't seem to get is: 1. I want to play Destiny the way I want to play it. Your way sucks IMHO. 2. I want to be able to purchase specific legendary gear I want to use in PvE. 3. The standard vendors have NO PvP specific items, if they did I wouldn't want it. 4. I want to avoid game modes I hate and would just hurt those I am teamed with. 5. Patrols, Public Events, Beacon Quests, occasional story and strikes are PvE so those of your that keep posting I don't do PvE, kindly return to the sofa in the basement and eat some cheese balls.

 • My point is this: if you want to play the game while omitting several MAJOR portions of it thats fine, all power to you. But don't expect to be able to get everything in the game if you aren't gonna play it all. I personally hate pve as well, but I wanted so badly to play the hard raid that I grinded IB for my entire day off, I camped like crazy to get my thorn/invective bounties. I sucked it up and DEALT WITH IT.

 • Because the Raid isn't easy accessible. It requires you to have 6 friends on the same console at the same time with the same gaming interest or find random people to play with for several hours in a row or arrange times and communicate/socialize on a certain level. Some people don't enjoy that in general or don't want to be a bother. Is that so hard to get? The game has a casual co-op with Public Events which are granted not really deep but could have been the template for a bigger and more structured event. The closest to that is probably the event at Ishtar Cliffs. I wished Destiny would have been a real open sandbox game with a lot real objectives but the way it's designed is imho the reason it's so addictive. It works sub consciously, probably by design, where you imprint it through repetition. As "different" as the Raid is vs. the rest after running it again and again and again to get the 30 armor set+weapons there's nothing unique about it anymore either. It's all about mechanics...

 • I've run the raid with randoms 15+ times it takes less than 10 minutes on average to find a group on these forums. While I agree it makes it seem inacessable at first, by the second run you realize that you were stupid for ever thinking that. I know I was very hesitant at first to group with randoms but I'm so glad I did.
