Why do you guys care how this dude gets his gear and plays the game? He's obviously not going to be using his gear to compete with you in the crucible, so what does it matter to you people? Let him play the game the way he wants, you guys are a bunch of critical little children. I've turned in material to get crucible marks every once in a while, sometimes you just want that gear and you have a lot of extra material. There are a lot of valid situations for using that system, just because you can't think of any doesn't mean they aren't there… It just means that you're too stupid to come up with any.
