Honestly, if dead orbit stopped charging crucible marks for their gear then it wouldn't be a big deal. Dead orbit has nothing to do with the crucible, we should be able to buy dead orbit gear with glimmer.

Dead Orbit runs the control matches. Its there thing for when we go scouting planets/moons, for new collonies.

I hadn't heard or read that anywhere. That logic makes sense to me. So it seems as though they should be able to take both kinds of marks and glimmer.
