People are upset because something was taken away. The same could be said for farming Mats. If they are required, you should have to farm them, but now you don't. See how that works?

I'm not a big fan of farming mats. Buying them after earning marks is way more fun and rewarding. I still think you should have to play crucible to get crucible marks.
-
Me too, but the factions should take either/or, or something else entirely. There are already crucible vendors.
-
You can think that, but in my opinion, it's hypocritical. I think you should have to farm materials, but now you don't. You don't want to grind patrols for materials. I don't want to grind Crucible for Marks. I already had what I wanted. Why does giving you what you want necessitate taking away what I already have?
-
It doesn't. It just seems like since they are crucible marks, they should be gotten from crucible. Plus you don't really need them. You can just get vanguard stuff.
-
There are only 2 vanguard vendors, already have all that stuff. The factions should not be crucible marks only. They have crucible vendors for that.
-
There's only two vendors for Vanguards. There's 5 for Crucible. If they allowed using Vanguard Marks for the Factions, that would alleviate some of my issue, even though two of the weapons I want are only available from that vendor. The other problem is that I now have no use for my excess farming materials beyond discarding them, which sucks. I can see giving people more options, but don't take others away. There's now no incentive to farm. Remove the need, not the incentive.

Yeah I think making the factions accept both types of marks would be better. They just need to find a middle ground.
