Not trying to be an ass for anything, but Bungie can't have those 2 things in there at once. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get on last night because of the lizard squad and i won't have time until tonight, but from what I've heard, it's 10 marks for 20 materials. Before that, it was 50 materials for 5 marks? Not sure since I never used that. Anyway, if they kept both in, you could just play PvP for a day then spend 30 marks for 60 materials and turn those in for 5 marks or however many you got back in return.

That's how it would work & that would be fine! There's a built in 'exchange fee' when converting and that expense is the price you pay for the convenience of avoiding PvP (or vice versa if you're crazy). And @OP: I agree with your sentiment, but trying to spoil PvP isn't doing anyone any good. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt & assume hyperbole :)

  • Given the weekly and total caps on marks, I'm not seeing how that would be a problem. If someone wants to spend 50 vanguard marks for 100 materials, then trade those in for 10 crucible marks, they can knock themselves out.
