YOU found it was a huge mistake and waste of time to swap materials. So YOU had the CHOICE to do Crucible and have fun doing PvP. Good for you!
I don't see how having people farming materials would bother any other player.
I believe this patch is great for PvP players. However, the changes Bungie brought up, and are directly impacting the way PvE players play (in fact, removing all together any interest in it anymore), is just plain wrong. Which does not come as a surprise. Bungie just wants to get rid of PvE-only players. It is much less costly and much more profitable to develop future $15-for-3-maps DLCs than having to cook up full-fledged expansions with a story (say what?), more missions and added content. After all, it's Activision we are dealing with, here.

Good Post ... still not seeing why anyone would care if I want to farm for a 1000 pieces of material to turn in for marks ... if anyone is to be hurt buy this I think it should and would be me but I am not complaining it think its fun doing it ....

Ain't nobody buying it for the multi! !!! Yeah u r right. Personally I found it to be a very inefficient way of gaining the stuff u wanted. So i did it once. And never again. I think you will see that the point I was trying to make is that it's not going to bother a whole lot of people and that they can't please everybody. They made some AWESOME changes with destination materials and weapons here. Why don't u focus on the good stuff buddy :)

Yea the changes were mostly awesome. They gave a bunch of New way to get materials, but they removed the only other thing to spend them on. More materials with less uses. Doesn't seem like they put a whole lot of thought into it.

And its especially galling because the content is so slight. I guess I continue to enjoy playing with my brother. If he was not with me it would be very boring by now, bar raids and weeklies. Although the holidays are approaching...and borderlands the pre sequel beckons. Did u know u can throw 3 blue guns into a god damn blender and it will spit out a purple? Take note bungie! We want more sweet purps!

Because, again, I, like many others, don't care about PvP... As for the expansion, they're bound to make two (Season Pass). Believe me, there won't be anymore after that.

You didn't, don't worry.You are one of the few who did raise their point without calling PvP-only players morons... ;-) I simply wish, the way I recognize the fact you find material farming a waste of time, that more people accept the fact that not everyone likes PvP, and some might even see this farming relaxing and fun. To each his own... But I am sure glad you like the patch and it enhances your fun playing. I regret I cannot say the same. However, it's not like there aren't any other (better) games out there. ;-)
