i could not agree more. i made a very similar rant in deej's thread yesterday. as did so many others. the problem is that bungie needs targets for the rapidly shrinking pvp crowd. pvp is cheap from a production point of view, pve content costs tons of money. this is why they are trying to "motivate" ppl to pvp, even those who do not like it. they simply need ppl to use cheap content. for pve they have to deliver new stuff every 2 months or ppl will leave. that is how it goes. for pvp a new map every 3 or 4 months, maybe a new mode variant here and there will do. keeping pvp alive is so much easier and cheaper.
