I think you'll find that quite a lot of people used it in fact. Granted, I do believe we are the minority here, but it would have been easy for the devs to just cap the rep gain from it to avoid abuse and that way all players could enjoy the game the way they want to.

Actually I know a few that use it since they really hate PvP. It helped a lot.

I was actually just about to start grinding all 3 of my characters to be Rank 3 in Crucible using the Material Exchange since I wanted the Hunter Cloak* and access to the Wizard 77. Guess thats that happening now.

You must have farmed for days. I sure have never used it. Plus i didn't even about it till today. I usually grind crucible till i reach 100 marks then grind for vanguard marks. Seriously it's not that hard to get crucible marks

I dont find crucible fun. in a way i feel Destiny took 2 steps forward and 1 step back today. Since Farming was extremely boring and pointlessly tedious when there should have been Material rewards at the end of missions/strikes. This past week alone I collected around 200+ of each material to upgrade Raid weapons. took 2-3 hours to gather enough of each material. But even that I find more fun than Crucible. I delete Exotic bounties if they require me to step foot in PvP. I see some people saying that they want some stuff to be Exclusive to PvP. If thats what people want, i think bungie is handling it completely wrong by cutting off tons of Content, requiring we play PvP or pray to RNGesus that we dont get Shards form a very drawn out rank up rewards in the hopes that we are going to get a full suit of armor for the particular class we are playing as. What bungie should have done is create pvp gear similar to Raid Gear. Not in that each raid piece has 30 light, but with special Buffs which are useful to PvP and PvP only. In the sameway Raid Weapons and Armor with Extra Oracle Damage or Energy from killing Vex is useful to PvE players. The Weapons and Gear should not be exclusive. But there should be special Variants exclusive to both.

Edited by Voyager2k: 12/2/2014 9:37:06 AMif you do not like pvp then it is not about being easy or hard. it is about being "forced" to do something you do not like because prior access to vendors was taken away by the change. mind you, access you had to work quite a bit for. not like you get to rank 3 by waving at them and saying hi.
