Dude, I'm not the biggest fan of PvP either, but I don't think Bungie caters to PvP players over PvE players at all. All the new DLC is PvE content, the only way to get to the level cap is through PvE (minus the limited Iron Banner week), all the best legendary gear comes through PvE. I get it- you want access to faction gear without having to play PvP and you're pissed about the changes. You're entitled to play the way you want to play- you paid for the game after all. But if you're going to "get back at Bungie" by entering PvP matches and ruin that experience for everyone else, not only is that petty and immature, but it's probably a good way to get banned from the Crucible, thus completely removing any chance at that PvP faction gear you covet so much yet don't want to play PvP to get. The people who enjoy PvP also paid for the game and are entitled to play it without someone intentionally stepping in and throwing matches out of spite. The game is designed to be played a certain way for different rewards. Part of that is getting in the crucible and earning marks for the faction gear. I think you just might have to suck it up and jump in. Hey, you might even start to enjoy it once you learn the maps and get a little experience with it.

  • Yes and no. Once you get raid gear, the Vanguard gear is useless as it does not have enough light, so to speak. BUT, Bunged Gee have limited their access by forcing you to play PVP. So you can play this game anyway you want as long as it is the way Bunged Gee want you to play it. Lets say I am a warlock, well then I only have one Vanguard to use. The factions are all useless unless I play PVP. I do play PVP, but am not a big fan and to top it off the PVP fan clubs call me a noob as I kick the crap out of them with weapons like Pocket Infinity etc. So even then, none PVP players who do play PVP are labelled as noobs by the PVP club as we do not use weapons that the PVP club endorse?

  • I don't think I understand what you mean at the end there.

  • to be fair , you have to BUY the DLC, these updates are no charge... so not really the same at all. Having said that I am happy to see the PVP crowd getting some strong changes , good for them. Just a shame Bungie is trampling all over the PVE game to do it. clearly it was faster and easier to just swap out the sell feature for buy one... instead of creating a whole new one..

  • True, and it would have been better to keep the other material exchange vendors there as an option. I get the complaint and why OP is upset. I'm just saying that his plan to intentionally ruin everyone else's experience because he's pissed off at Bungie is a bad idea.
