Thank you for your votes and extra thank you for actually reading polls like this instead of voting and calling it a day. :-) I love Destiny. I have loads of fun playing around testing each class and subclass. I enjoy being able to modify my subclass according to my play style. Whatever perks I feel I'm missing I can compensate with Exotic Armor pieces. The only thing is, I don't feel like there's enough customization. I can only wear one Exotic Armor piece, so I can only get that one special perk for my subclass. I thought about ways I could come up with that could expand my style of play. Sometimes I even run into another guardian that uses the same exact subclass build as me. These thoughts eventually evolved into an idea of expanding the exsisting subclass skill tree. When I thought further into it, I decided it would be best to add onto the exsisting perk columns rather than creating a new column. These perks could be applied as a new row in the subclass skill tree, to increase the players options. I didn't want to overwhelm all of you with too many ability perks, so I cut down the worse ideas and stuck with the best. In each list I placed: one new Super perk, one new Melee perk, one Training perk, and two Ability/Misc. perks. I tried to keep it simple. I've made a thread like this before, but many of the players thought some of my perk ideas were way too game breaking. I went over my ideas and I plucked out some of the perks that over shadow the exsisting ones. I tried my best to keep these Ideas as balanced as I could, but I'm just one person on a keyboard. Please understand that I did not intend to make any subclass more over powered than the next. These are just concepts, balancing would be needed for each one of these perks to be placed in game. ----- Striker Scatter the enemy.
Melee/Area Super: Half Blast
Fist of Havoc can be used twice, but at half damage and radius. Being killed after casting Fist of Havoc once depletes your super energy. (Much like the Golden Gun)
Melee: Knock Out
Hits with Storm Fist briefly blind its target.
Training: Titan Codex VII
Training focused on raw Toughness.
Ability Perk: Incredible Force
Storm Fist and Shoulder Charge push/stagger enemies.
Misc. Perk: Avenger
Take less damage nearby endangered teammates.

----- Defender Control the flow of battle.
Support/Area Super: Reposition
Hold LB+RB to relocate the shield's position.
Melee: Detonate
Release a short ranged void pulse when Force Barrier is knocked down.
Training: Titan Codex VII
Training focused on raw Toughness.
Ability Perk: Life Bond
Ward of Dawn detonates when you are killed.
Misc. Perk: Last Stand
Shots from Primary weapons may pass through Ward of Dawn from the Inside; with reduced velocity, range, and damage.

----- Gunslinger Travel alone.
Ranged/Target Super: Hunter's Instict
See enemies through walls (short distance) while Golden Gun is active.
Melee: Tracker
Throwing Knife marks its location via waypoint. Marked targets take slight additional damage from all sources.
Training: Path Familiar
Training focused on raw Speed.
Ability Perk: Born Ready
Weapons swap faster while sliding.
Misc. Perk: Ricochet
Shots with Golden Gun bounce of hard surfaces 1x.

----- Bladedancer Fight in secret.
Melee/Target Super: Telleport
Press RT while Arc Blade is active to instantly blink towards your destination.
Melee: Darkened Blade
Blink Strike poisons its victims. (much like the wizard's poison cloud)
Training: Path Familiar
Training focused on raw Speed.
Ability Perk: Combo Hits
Each consecutive melee strike increases melee damage.
Misc. Perk: Cheat Death
You become cloaked when your shields are knocked down.

----- Voidwalker Uncover mysteries.
Ranged/TargetArea Super: Void Burst
Nova Bomb arrives in weaker pulses that can be aimed to multiple locations while being shot. (Kinda like if Nova Bomb was an auto rifle with a 5 mag clip that shoots tiny void orbs in one burst. Pew pew pew.)
Melee: Pull
Grab enemies and push them closer to you.
Training: Arcane Recovery
Training focused on raw Battle Recovery.
Ability Perk: Restless Soul
Shrieker bullets are released when you are killed during Energy Drain.
Misc. Perk: Shadow Form
Gain temporary evasiveness to incoming damage when walking. (Much like the Bladedancer's Stalker/Crouch Cloak, does not activate on Sprint, you have to be moving forward for a brief moment before activation. Shooting while Shadow Form is active cancels itself.)

----- Sunsinger Beacon hope to others.
Support/TargetArea Super: Ballad of Renewal
Enemies caught in your radius while Radiance is active suffer burning damage. Teammates in your radius recover health slightly when nearby enemies are killed.
Melee: Heat Wave
Scorch can be aimed to burn enemies from a ranged distance. (Does not do melee damage from afar, only puts a burn effect on the target.)
Training: Arcane Recovery
Training focused on raw Battle Recovery.
Ability Perk: Healing Touch
Scorch can be used on Teammates to cleanse negative effects and restore lost health. (Hitting a teammate with scorch uses up one melee charge. This does not lock melee onto teammates.)
Misc. Perk: Undying Light
All burning effects caused by you spread from target to target in close proximity.

----- Did you find any perks you would be interested to see in game? Are there any abilities/perks you would like to add/replace onto the list? Which of these subclass folders is your favorite? Which subclass would be the most/least over powered? What did you like/ dislike? What could I improve on? Let me know in the comments below. Thank You. :-) P.S. I kept in mind existing perks and exotic armor benefits when creating this list. Tell me any clever perk combos you thought of. ----- Community Additions
Comment Below, Id love to hear any ideas you might have for expanding the subclass skill tree
• I like the idea of modifying the subclasses, it gives you more leeway in that class and provides play modification. Adding supers like a melee to the striker or a ranged because the Titan doesn't have the best super range, or adding a stealth component to the hunter in the skill tree; and this is just some ideas off the top of my head and I would love to hear feedback and other ideas.
