I tried Crucible in the weekend, and had a great time. I started off at the bottom of the table, but after about 6 games I was getting in the middle of the scoreboard, Its was awesome. I got a first blood medal and took out 4 peeps in a row with a machine gun. I found if you just chill and take it easy you end up with a good score - rather than rushing in and getting whacked straight away. Ended up with 36 crucible marks for a few hours play. Really enjoyed it. Its a good time to get into crucible because there are loads of noobs like me around after the patch - makes it a lot more equal and easy to improve. Its a bi like the beta of the game. - lots of new players around. Its a pretty even playing field. Give it a go - a decent go! And then it opens up a whole different area of the game for you.

Whatever that means haha.

Actually I don't understand why we even needed to add a option to get more materials. If you go do your daily mission and maybe public event and bounties you will more than likely get more materials than you need. Only need, what, 16? at a time. That takes next to no time, if you left upgrading an item till the very end then, yes, it may seem like a lot, but its still not that hard. A lot easier than pvping for the required amount to get them marks then converting them IMO. Seems to be a change aimed at allowing PVPers to do nothing but PVP.

First off, it was 50 for 5. Secondly, the Crucible is a waste of time. PvE yields the most rewards for the time you put in. At least it used to. The materials are just icing on the cake while you are knocking out vanguard bounties and patrol missions. Ever see engrams drop when you kill someone in Crucible? Nope. Before Bungie started dicking with the system every week, I used to be able to level a faction in an hour and a half, hit the mark cap by Wednesday, and level the cryptarc about 5 times in the process. If you werre simply "farming" that would be one thing, but I accumulated 90% of my material hoard while doing other things. Now my inventory slots are filling up with useless resources.

What would be funny is if fire teams could get together and just join matches in crucible and all sit down with their character and just talk the whole match...All 12 players. ..A civil protest for the PvE patrol party. I spent a ton of hours getting one of my characters up to vanguard 3 less than a week before the patch...played for 5 hours not realizing the marks cap at 200...bought an item from Future War Cult...Part of the reason my Crucible wasn't level 3...that and I have 3 characters with only my Titan Defender not maxed out...So their ranks are all over the place. Long story short work was too busy and I couldn't get the 20 marks I needed to buy the gun I wanted. Now they don't sell that gun...And since I just leveled up...Haha, I can't even buy a gun until I play a whole bunch more to get crucible 4...just so I can buy one weapon. If the cap is at 200, then you are already limiting what I can by...When have this Commendation? Why not just give us one so we can re-roll a legendary we have to get different perks like from an engram. I don't see the redundant purpose to penalize those who earn the marks and want to spend them as they see fit. Why do green engrams even show up past level 25? By that point it should be blue and legendaries I feel, like early when you couldn't even get blue for most of the campaign. ..playing it first playthrough. Such a waste. And why can't we select greens and blues as junk and delete them all at once? Is deleting all those worthless materials for 30 minutes Bungie's way of having us play the game longer? That's more boring than farming... I don't think legendary engrams should never automatically give you ascendant materials. Give us the item and if we want to salvage it, we will. So many times I finally get a legendary and then I get CrypTrolled. I think the game should be set up to reward those who want raids and strikes, those who explore and patrol, and those who crucible it up to all be rewarded equally. Maybe breaking up a crucible weapon could give you like the gun parts, mats and like 1 crucible mark? Along with that lame butt Achilles shader. Why don't the factions inventory cycle every so often? Some factions good stuff is only from engrams? Why can't the old guns be there from Quarter Masters until you reach Level 25 and it matters that you will need higher gear? Then it would make sense for us to buy the whites and greens that are always in the Vanguard's and Cryptarch's inventory. And then have them or Xur sell us similar shards that can upgrade our old armor if That is the Look WE WANT. No point in having everyone who buys new DLC all looking the same if old gear should never be warn. Why don't all exotics have bounties? And thank you for fixing all of them...kudos. Why can't we change the color of the ships we find schematics for...The brown rust color get old and drab. Really? The same for all of them? Why not have multiple events going on? Why do I do the Cota Missions at level 25 on Level 28 and only get greens to drop? Why doesn't the inventory to the Cryptarch ever cycle to give us something good? How about just limit the purchases at a higher level to one..figure out a blue to not bum anyone out for the rare blue fusion rifle vendor grab to help with the Pocket Infinity Bounty. But getting the blue moon chance to buy a legendary from the gunsmith or Cryptarch would be nice...As a higher level. Why can't we just have all the options for crucible game modes? Is it to limit us to make better matchmaking? I hate having Salvage Bounties when the mode isn't available?!! I love this game, but I'm getting tired of having my fun sapped. I like how the overall improvement to upgrading armor and guns has become. ..also, sadly gives reasons not to reward with legendaries. I like how you fixed the exotics as I've said that you nerfed or had just made garbage originally. I sure hope they hear all these cries, ideas and compromises...fingers crossed.
