I recently bought the expansion pass, and now regrettably I wish I hadn't. I don't understand bow Bungie can mess this up so bad. They seem to want too force people into Crucible. I bought destiny as it was seemingly about teamwork etc but now its seems they're gearing it towards crucible crap. If I wanted play that I would by COD. I liked farming with a fire team and having a laugh collecting stuff for hours. Why bother do it now? Where is the point. I liked exchanging for marks. I had really high hopes for this game but with each downdate, sorry update, it gets less and less appealing.

I really have to agree, I didn't get to see the whole "trade materials for marks" thing until the final day they had it. I mean, now Bungie really screwed up and lost at least 1 hundred customers because of this new update. I mean, Bungie has made some of the greatest video games in history and now they are known for -blam!-ing up a really good game. I honestly think I like the beta version better than this pile of trash now. We are being forced into PvP, I'd rather play PvE 'cause that's the type of gameplay and content I like. I also think 343 Industries did a better job in PvP for Halo 4 than Bungie doing Destiny. I just don't understand it. I also spent a total of 5 hours farming for helium coils on the moon so I could trade them in the next day until Bungie decided to say "-blam!- You" and shove in this update. I don't think I'll be playing much more destiny because of this.

Unfortunately you seem to make out I constantly complain. This is incorrect. As I have purchased the game, I am entitled to an opinion. I have pushed destiny onto quite a lot of my friends, however this update has not been met well by a lot of people. You see, a lot of people who don't like COD, sorry, the crucible, used patrols and in particular farming as a other way to play, I know I certainly did. That element however has been tainted by the fact that collecting things and finding chests has become somewhat irrelevant. I haven't picked the game apart, since day one of me owning it I have loved the game, but the dumb ways bungie do things in particular with updates, makes me, and thousands upon thousands more question the integrity of what they are doing.

Whats the point in crucible? The crap packages the cryptarch gives you? Sup par legendary weapons or armor that the vanguard quartermaster has? Or just using the gear for ascendant shards which can be obtained very easily? Not mad at you for your opinion, i just see no point in crucible

I don't use the crucible, I cannot abide it. Its a poor version of COD that drags Destiny down.

Yes so my point is why do you need marks? Factions? Cant you use a faction mark and play tiger strikes for crucible marks?

No you only gain rep for that and when you bring up the rank it is random what you get

Fair enough. Though if you did get marks from the faction class items, there would be no reason to play crucible for marks, because it's faster to earn marks through tiger strikes.

Tbh, I enjoy the not knowing what I'm goin get by ranking up. For example I enjoy doing 7-8 strikes then going cryptarch to help rank up, along the way seeing what I get then seeing what I get for ranking up. Same with marks, I like seeing what the vanguard rank up will get me. As an example I just did patrols for a few hours, and got a helmet and an energy. Not amazing but the not knowing factor is what is addictive. I don't think it is right to try and force an aspect of the game onto the players. For example crucible bounties, if we don't want to do them we don't. But if we get an exotic bounty you have to do crucible for the majority which I don't agree with.

I too hate PVP and hate that we seem to be forced to do it with exotic bounties and such. I do think the latest patch is good overall but I do agree it would have been great to have the choice. Maybe we should wait and see how it works out first. It might seem okay after awhile. Try and stay positive - it is only a game after all and we should have fun together. I don't go into Crucible much because I suck at it to be frank. But I will still farm anyway and I will still strike with my roster mates and anyone who wants to be a roster mate that is a respectful person and likes to have fun and laughs. If you like doing Nightfall - I am always willing to go into that challenge too. I did VOG on normal to the very end only once but would like to get better at it and build up with a team to hard level. I am in no rush with anything and in fact like to take my time maxing out my guns first.

Yeah you play like me and my boys no rush to get done with the game at all love taking my time going from planet to planet leveling weapons , farming patroling no rush at all ... To bad I am not on PSN would team-up with ... Farming parties sounds like fun ... Let's hope they fix this ....

You know it sucks. Every time I get a response like this from a really nice guy like you - it is on a different console, lol. Well, if you other guys who are PS4 and would like to team up with me - I would love to strike, farm, etc with them. Keep up playing the way you want to play and have all the fun in the world brother.

Lol, I got MIDA now to see it again from Xur - sucks man. Why can't he have a different gun. Anywya, while I do not like PVP - I do love playing with others in PVE. That is fun to me. Talking while I am killing the enemy and laughing and screaming sometimes, lol.
