i liked doing this over playing crucible because for me it was not only more fun but easier because i got rewarded every time i turned some in as in crucible you got your team the victory by capping 15 flag's no don't a single thing but you played like it was tdm and avoided every flag plus only got 1 kill by using your special and died over 30 times you deserve a jalahorn and some armor this better player has played over 2 hours for like so many other players want let us have this back you pvp players are acting like it ruins the game for you when it doesn't affect you at all but it greatly affects us pve players.

How on earth is it better to trade in cruicible marks for materials though ?? I have so much of nearly all the materials and they never get used... So if anything id like to be able to use them for marks or something atleast thats rewarding.... I mean literally since the day i bought this game i keep gaining more and more and more materials and they are never used for anything because there is nothing at this point they are for apparently. So In my opinion this patch for the material exchange is ridiculous, because before it occurred you actually had a reason to gather these materials. but now its for nothing, there is no benefit to having any of them from my experience. I mean i've have where a couple upgrades for weapons use a few of the materials but nothing that useful . Lastly i feel like this games currency platform is completely out of wack. Because you easily gain glimmer and materials but you can use them. and then the marks for van and crucible are so difficult to obtain it sort of kills the fun in the game. Because there is nothing like finishing a crucible match with a huge victory and only gain a couple marks and MAYBE some armor you already have. Its just the lack of winnings kills the enjoyment. It should be where the larger the win ( more points gained at the end of a match compared to the other team) the more marks you get. So if you destroy the other team you get like 10 marks. Having a fixed 3 mark for a won match is underwhelming to say the least.

You know, The only thing I actually find myself missing from them is zombies mode. Otherwise my life has been great without CoD.

The mote of light you probably got due to the substantial amount of xp that you get/got when doing the trades. 5 marks. As for the strange coin... never seen that happen from a mat trade in personally. The cryptarch rep according to patch notes has also been reduced. 'Reduced Cryptarch reputation gain from Engrams, but reputation reward packages now have an increased chance for Legendary Engrams', considering those packages have given me no legendaries since the update a long time ago then it could be an increase of 0% up to 1% and they wouldn't be lying. Buying 20 mats for 10 marks vs selling 50 mats for 5 marks? hmm, unbalanced to say the least. So instead of farming for mats we now have to farm a currency that has a low cap per week and very low cap overall. Hats off to you bungie, you just keep making it harder for me to get my friends back to this game.

I like being able to trade marks for materials. I don't like that they took away the ability to buy faction gear without PvP. When we're on patrol, we do missions for the different factions. Yet there is no way to get their gear without crucible marks. Before, we didn't HAVE to run crucible to get gear from the factions we do missions for. Now, we have no choice.

Well I would It a little bit more faster and I have nothing to with the mark so I'll just waste it tinto those material for a few of my legendary weapon and armor
