Lmao, I hate PvP and love this update. You hate PvP so much? There is something else called the Vanguard y'know. I have never even heard of people trading materials for marks until today when I read everyone crying. "I want Dead Orbit guns though, not Vanguard!" They're the same exact guns. You'll replace them with raid weapons anyway. If you want PvP rewards, but won't play PvP, then I guess you don't want those rewards that badly.
