You traded 50 materials for a small amount of rep and marks...repeatedly? That sounds so terrible I can't even comprehend, I would rather play rumble, and lose every time than do that.

You have the option to do that... or not. There are many of us who chose the latter. Quite frankly, I loved farming the shit out of this game. But now, unfortunately, we no longer have that option

So there was no problem until this patch. You could do what you want to get the marks and we where able to farm.

I do it, or should i say done it, 1000 materials a week to get your 100 crucible marks, i hate pvp and also got booted out most games wit an error code so just gave up on it, you'd be surprised how fast you would have the materials collected

I get like 100 an hour on the moon or Mars, earth and Venus seem to take longer. I'm kinda burned out on crucible after iron banner, and there's nothing I'd want from the factions till the dlc hits. But...that's a lot of chests man...

I wouldn't even play crucible to get the iron banner gear thats how much i hate it ha, there is a good trick in the rocketyard for spinmetal, its on youtube where you collect the chest in the first room on the left and a spinmetal leaf outside the door, then drive out till it says the divide then drive back and they will spawn again, youd easily get 200 per hour and sometimes legendary engrams which is a bonus

Lol that's exactly why I'm so pissed right now. That was the best thing I discovered while on patrols. Bungie giveth and taketh away! I also feel like this was their way of countering the glitch..

That's nifty, I might check it out. I used to find the legendarys in the chests, Destiny seems to have been stingy with me for the past 2 weeks in it tho.
