It's to prevent people from spending vanguard marks for material, then trading them back for marks, reputation, and glimmer. There's always a reason behind what they do.

    Are you kidding? All they would have to do is get the math right so you take a loss or equal trade for doing such a thing.

  • It doesn't has to be this way. They could just make it marks for mats and mats for marks with no reps no glimmer involve. This way, it'd give players' choices what to do with their marks and materials. Some people really can't stand PVP why take their chance to get crucible marks away? It was already hell of a grind the way it was and still they chose that path just let them be.
