Mida is not being mentioned? people are stunlocking mission/strike bosses with it, and that stagger applies to pvp.
Mida should theoretically win 1v1 engagements with anything that's not a fusion, HMG, or shotgun.
BTW, the net effect of this patch for THORN in crucible is to restore it to what it was before the previous patch. The only difference is 3 more rounds, and if you've gone through 6 in crucible something is wrong and you're likely dead anyway.

Yeah 3 more rounds is a huge help, not because of missing shots, mainly due to 2v1 and 3v1 enagements. Most good PVP teams will have at least 2 guardians sticking together for support, if not three guardians. Those extra three rounds will help along with the faster reload, couple that with faster reload speed for hand cannon gloves in a gunslingers hand and you got an extremely awesome weapon. The net effect is a lot more than what you are describing.

Does chain of woe impact the reload that much? I've been grinding on a blade dancer to max it out but been missing my golden gun, if chain of woe does help lots I might switch back to it. Was using the mida with gunslinger subclass and couldn't really notice a reload change with how crazy fast that gun is to begin with

Edited by a potato: 12/1/2014 10:14:04 PMChain of woe is insane. I have chain of woe on my gunslinger and when everyone was whining about how slow thorn was it was taking me a fraction of a second. You barely notice the cylinder flip when you're at 3 stacks. There's a reason chain of woe comes with -10% to recovery.

Good to know and will have to keep that in mind :)

Jesus, how much more does it stun now?
-
Not really. Thorn has a larger mag, faster reload, better PVE poison and better stability.

How does it stagger in PvP?
-
stagger in pvp just completely jams up aim down sights. If you've ever been shot and had your cross-hairs go absolutely flying that was probably one of the stagger perks.
