Vex still sucks. It's crap, there's zero reason to use it in PVE.

Use extended mag, 223 ammo max. Vex is very good now. Maybe not like it once was, but usable again. Shreds level 26 yellow minotaurs in 20 bullets

I agree. That's why I never used mine. But I was doing the daily today and did notice a bit more ammo drops but it could have been luck.

Yea I solo'd a public event on Mars right after the patch and zero primary ammo dropped. Tons of heavy ammo tho.
