It's not as character heavy. It has great mechanics and story style, but the characters are bland. No interesting... However, these past episodes they are really diving into Akatsuki's character. (However it only took them till season 2..... -___-

They do have a lot of characters but I say they definitely have a lot more personality, next episode looks to dive more into shiroe. While we don't know as much about their background we get small tidbits here and there but the personality and actions definitely show who and what they are. Between the two I still prefer Log Horizon, I find it much more fascinating to see them figure out new things in the world that they can do and actually adjusting to living in it.

Yes don't get me wrong, I like the show as well. But you have to admit majority of people would prefer sao over log, but the beauty of being anime watchers, we can watch it all! Be it sao, log, or Akame. There is a show that we can all enjoy. And your favorite, speaks for what kind of person you are.

Thats ture SAO has a much bigger fanbase and all are good in their own ways, I saw up to 5 of Akame, good show as well.

SAO has bland characters...lol

I don't think so. They each had their own episode and own story background. We have yet to see that from log horzion. Finally Akatsuki is getting some development as who she is. But we are in season 2.... A little late in the whole character background check.

FMA's better IMO.
