I'm sad to inform you they do. Templar as everyone knows is easy but since the patch it often takes more time to cheese Atheon than it does to just beat him legit yet people still do it. It makes no sense to me. I guess technically it's still easier to cheese but I thought the idea was to save time.

Yea i think it is easier to kill atheon we usually burn him down in 2 teleports but I guess that is why people can be 30 and have no idea what they are doing looking for checkpoints to cheese and never doing it legit
