I promise you that if there were matchmaking for the raid, about 90% of the matches would end in failure. It's not about being able to kill stuff a much as it is about communication. Matchmaking wouldn't work when randoms come in with no mic, and no intention of using the required teamwork. You would be even more disappointed with the raid at that point.
