Us casuals will be leaving soon, You're welcome
With no signs of Raid matchmaking, the causal gamer such as myself will be leaving soon.
(I know this makes many of you happy)
You see, I am not a great player by any means, and while I'm not mad about leaving destiny, I won't be buying the DLC.
I just got the "charity" boots and gloves from IB. With an exotic chest piece, I have only a helmet to get to 30....
I will not be able to raid without matchmaking, so I wont be getting the raid helmet....If I cant get to 30, why get the DLC
Matchmaking was an oversight, no matter what you say. So its cool, destiny was fun for the most part...but I think in the next 2-3 weeks it will be over and I'll go back to Madden
Just an insight from a more casual fan to Bungie... I know your game is a monetary success, but you are leaving some money on the table with some of us.

1 ReplyNot sure why everybody is so against matchmaking....You can still use your cute little websites and forums to create an experienced fire team if you want, then join the raid fully equipped with 6. Matchmaking would not affect you. There is a lot of upside to having MM.

Then swap your chest for an exotic helmet maxing out those upgrades will get you to 30. I work Friday night through Monday morning. So I got nothing from the IB event. Was hoping to get the IB gloves and boots for my hunter. But work and I suck badly at PvP. Got the raid chest piece already and exotic helmet. Those IB gear would have got my hunter to 30. So anyway back to the VoG for me. Hope this helped!

1 ReplyI do not know why you gay boys always say "use forums" , why the -blam!- do people like us want to dick around on a -blam!-ing app trying to play the game we bought rather than be able to log in and play anything we want, don't care what you lot say that raid weekly the fact is there was no warning about no matchmaking before it came out , and no excuse why it's not a thing given the useless amount of in game socializing

1 ReplyIt's just a game holycrap I have school then work and what ever free time I have after goes to my girlfriend or playing this game its fun. Unless you want World of Warcraft replacement. No game is perfect but in the end its your own personally option

I personally consider myself more on the somewhat hardcore side - although I got so sick with Destiny after reaching 30 three weeks after it was released and haven't really played any raids in the past two weeks, got all i need anyway - but the matchmaking, or rather the lack of it, is unforgivable. How the hell could they be this dumb?

1 ReplyMatchmaking, on occassion would be good, but really you need a mic and some experience. It would be really annoying to be put with one or two players per 6 that are a 25 without a mic and no idea what to do for example.

2 RepliesI do on the uther hand find it frustrating than u can run the raid many many times and not get the peice I raid gaer u need like me lol still haven't got legs after countless runs and the ion banner wasn't around long enough for somoene who works has a wife and kids witch is very annoying but I'm. Not the person destiny want to sell there game to thay want the 10 to 15 yr old population hens y the game was massively changed beffore release I believe this is because it would have been to.mucth for the young people with the likes of an in game economic system and trading and all.that jazz

1 ReplyYer the problem is that there are many people who arnt willing to help those who need it or haven't rune it before I Dnt think matchmaking would work for that reason the gamers who think thay are hardcore will just Leev because thay seem to think thay are better than helping uthers I'm happy to help and have run the raid many time with no loot just to help uthers because that's wht a coop game like destiny is about not crying about this or moaning if somoene missis an Oracle or booting people because thay haven't done it I mean we all had to learn it at one point !

Honestly, if you are complaining about having a hard time finding a fireteam to do the raid, the you obviously have? Been too lazy to even try. It takes me about 5-10 minutes to compose a team, so you should maybe give the forums a shot and look at the entire forum section devoted to finding fireteams (it helps).

New content starts at level 28, meaning everyone can enjoy it and start progressing even without any raid gear.

If you have trouble finding people, add me, psn terancetsang. Lv30 warlock, I dun mind carry you through normal raid, hope this will help you=] P.s join a clan so people will find you for strike or raid

Doesn't take much effort at all to find people on the forums to get involved with the raid. If you're expecting to jump straight into hard mode then you should re-evaluate your expectations. Normal mode, there's no reason for you not to be able to push through. In the end it may simply be your own hesitations, misperceptions, that hold you back.

Get an exotic helmet. Use a raid chest piece. There's a forum to go LFG in.
