Inventory Management

Guys, am i missing something here or is there no point keeping 'downlevel' armour in your vault? The only reason i can see for doing this is either if it's either for another class or you are planning to grow another character of the same class. With weapons and other items it's different because you can use then across classes but it makes no sense for armour. Surely you're better just dismantling it. Am i being thick?

  • You are right to dismantle. I hoarded queens wrath stuff and 2nd highest lvl gloves and so forth thinking I could put them on another character. I thought only certain items where class specific. not everything. Was gutted when I was wrong. I then thought I could use an alternative character to break down items for the components but the components are class specific too. So there is no point unless you have multiple characters of same class or like equiping inferior armour just to look at it.

  • Cant really see the point of keeping it like you say unless you are "growing" another character the same. I dont know of any other reason to keep it. I used to brake it down for the shards when I was a lower level guardian but now with the high daily strikes & vog I seem to have plenty of shards now. I feel pained to break down armour that I've spend time & shards maxing just for 2 shards back so I tend to "vault" those ones & break down the rest.
