Worst luck in Destiny history?
So far I have logged 67 hours in Destiny. Most time spent in story mode, strikes & 3 runs thru the Raid. I've kept up with legendary engram drops just because I knew how rare they were gonna be. I didn't realize how rare.
To this day I have had (1) legendary engram drop from a strike enemy & (1) legendary engram as a reward for the daily mission. Yup, just two, the first one luckily gave me legendary sniper, the second gave me shards.

1 ReplyI feel sorry for u bro. I have the opposite going on. So many legendary and exotic weapons I will never get them all upgraded. The other day gave me 2 icebreaker. One on my titan for the nightfall. The other on my hunter in the VoG. First World Problems.

Don't feel bad a friend of mine has a friend who raided about 30 times and not one piece of armor drop. Has over 100 in both energy and shards but no gear to get him to level 30.

You feel unlucky now but you will get a few periods of grace dude trust me. I had terrible luck followed by awesome luck followed currently by a bit of a down period!

I hit lvl 30 with 330 hours played , trust me it could be worst ,40 raid +

I feel your pain. I had to use marks to buy almost everything for the first two months i played. But i kept my cool and in the last couple weeks have been blessed by RNG to get a few cool items. So just keep going soon you will have luck!

I personally have people telling me that the Bungie team has blessed me with my guns and armor. But I feel you, the game can be very rewarding for some and not so much for others. But you have know this one thing about why other people get these engrams and good drops... [spoiler]IT WAS THEIR DESTINY TO GET GOOD REWARDS![/spoiler]

1 ReplyI've had six legendary weapons engrams. None have turned into a weapon. I've also never had a blue engram turn into a legendary.

I have over 500 hours. You're just getting started. And, yes, legendary drops are rare. A bit better than they were a couple weeks ago but rare. As they should be.

You must have just started out. You can thank your fellow players for begging for the engram patch Before the engram patch, I remember getting about 5-6 legendaries everyday. But ever since the patch, I've probably got at most 2 legendaries.

1 Replyif it makes you feel any better i just gave 23 motes of light for a helmet engram of which for some reason I thought was sole for the class you where playing, i learned a valuable mistake. I got a $%^# warlock helmet. I wanted to cry =(

Is that even a real piece of gear or is it PSN only?) 1 Titan Gloves. 1 Titan Helm. 1 Titan Boots. 5 Aspects of Glass. 3 other glass Ships from Normal. 5 Timebreakers. Still need Chest Piece for Titan. NEVER got any gear on my Hunter after 4-5 FULL Normal Runs. That's why it got Sacrificed. Never made the cut for HARD. Still Need VEX / Epilogue / Foil / Vision in terms of Weapons.[/quote]

I'm pretty close the same amount of play time as you. I didn't see my first legendary until I was level 26, and that was from a cryptarch materials exchange (those things you get every time you raise your cryptarch level). last weekend I finally saw my first legendary drop, 2 on saturday, 1 on sunday (2 dropped while playing the daily heroic on level 24)...BUT, they were all for a titan, I'm a warlock. Also bought that exotic helmet engram from xur, yep, rolled a helmet for a titan. Oh well though, apparently my next character is going to be a titan, and I've got some sick gear lined up for him already!

Dude. I have something like 13 or 14 days in the game and have found less than 10 legendary engrams, and have only been awarded 1 exotic through RNG. 67 hours is nothing, honestly.

i have 150 hours played and can count the number of legendary drops i have gotten on one hand.
