I have two Panasonic plasma TV s one 42 one 50. I have only ever had burn in on one when my wife left it on with only the dvd logo in the top corner. Played the matrix through once and it was gone.

How long did your wife leave the DVD in for? Keep in mind, while obviously the HUD is Destiny isn't always there, like in menus and in the tower, I've logged a about two weeks playtime.. So you gotta figure the HUD was up for 3/4th of that at least..

She'd left it on from Friday morning to Sunday night when she and the kids went away for a weekend while I was away on work. So that was more than 48hrs constantly. The matrix is great for removing burn in due to lots of black and white.
