I have notice on my armamentarium that I do not carry any extra special ammo than I normally do even though I have the perk that should allow me to.

This has nothing to do with cut scenes or going into orbit but rather a bug I noticed. Pretty much even though I have the perk to carry more ammo, I am not carrying an extra.
