I don't mind them having exclusive content as long as that content is free, and we gain accessibility to it eventually. However, if we're being charged the same amount as Playstation users, but receiving less content then that is both unfair and frustrating. I also wouldn't mind if there was already satisfactory amount of content either in game or promised in the DLC, considering how stupidly priced the DLC is you'd think there'd be more than one strike.

  •
...I don't mind them having exclusive content as long as that content is free...
First of, I'm not a fan of exclusivity in cross platform games either... However, arguably the scenario you describe is what's happening here... Everyone is paying for the base DLC, but PS is getting an additional free strike which will be made available at a later date. I think it's become a bigger issue in Destiny because of the distinct lack of game content as a whole, which means that one strike represents a lot... TBH I'm more annoyed at the disparity in DLC cost; IMHO it already represents poor value for money, but when you factor in the cost it should be based on exchange rates, the UK cost reeks of profiteering and is unpalatable for me (and I'd guess many others).

I second your opinion. There's a monsterous amount of greed, ignorance, and inequality being pumped into the pricing and thought process behind this DLC. I think it's disgusting. To be quite honest it's pushing me further and further from an actual purchase.

  • Technically speaking you still get the same amount of stuff but..... You'll get it a long time from now. So you DO get the same amount of content still.

  • I'm well aware of that, I'll exemplify: that strike is intended as part of Destiny's DLC, and in removing it (for an unstated amount of time - "will remain exclusive until atleast fall 2015") Xbox users are being charged an unfair price. On release I will be paying for those two strikes, yet will not have access to it, whilst others will. Exclusive content should remain separate from paid content.
