The Japanese Republic finishes building a Warp Engine big enough to warp their home solar system of Kuat. As it is untested, they have no clue what's going to happen when they start it up. Unable to test it due to the black hole barreling into the Milky Way, they activate it and the entire system disappears completely.

Edited by CAD1420Z: 11/15/2014 12:54:08 AMWell, there are technically two KDYs as well. I founded mine after I named my system Kuat. It absorbed ISACE as R&D, and is made up of Japanese workers. I'll rename my KDY to Japanese-Kuat Drive Yards.
