Well to be fair, that's all we really could do back then. Even though #Gaming wasn't the location to post that sort of stuff, there really wasn't anywhere in particular to post that sort of stuff on Bungie's site. Now that there is, we're still saying GTFO, but now we have a place to tell them to GTFO to. As for why this has survived this long, It's probably because it really is acting as a PSA that the other forum exists now. It's obviously supported by the mods, as you're really helping them out with getting things cleaned up and sorted out, so it makes sense.
