Never mind the title im not moaning in any way about the game because i absolutely love it. I only bought the game a week or so ago, only played for around 12 hours and im only level 24 but its a great game. Yes its repetitive, its a grind, its the same shit every day, the loot system is poor and theres loads of flaws but that for me is what makes it what it is. I played a game called Legend of Mir for around 12 years in total and it was the original Diablo kinda game but with no story, no quests, just a good community and an absolute grindfest. The events (if they bothered making them) were shit, the servers were crashing all the time and we had to pay £7 a month (when i was a kid this was a fair bit) plus your buffs etc cost a lot of real money too but we loved it! One thing off looking through this forum is theres a really really good community behind this game, theres a lot who constantly moan about it too but honestly, is it really that -blam!-ing bad where all you do is rage? I waited until this month to buy the game because i wanted to see what peoples reactions were and all of the poor reviews about it being repetitive etc kinda sold it for me strangely. You play an MMO type game because you enjoy the grind, you work for silly amounts of hours and still dont get that -blam!-ing drop because its what we like to play! After Legend of Mir closed people opened private servers offering quicker levelling and item drops more frequent and it sounded awesome, less grind more reward... but it was absolutely shit because then it was too easy and you lost interest quickly. If you dont like grinding and repetitive games dont play it,. If i didnt enjoy destiny anymore i wouldnt play and certainly wouldnt be sitting around moaning on a forum about it.... for £45-£50 you will have got at least 8-10 hours of enjoyable gameplay... try having a night out for 8-10 hours with that amount of money! This community is good, the game is good... both have their flaws but yet your still here... so -blam!-ing enjoy the game or piss off?? EDIT::: Im sure a fair few who play Destiny played or do play MMO's like WoW, Lord of the Rings online, Guild Wars etc etc... what about crafting materials on games like this to make good items? they are boring as -blam!- to grind... no real difference to the way Destiny works..
