I have a 60" Samsung PNF8500 (current king of plasmas). I usually play long sessions of Destiny...maybe 8+ hours at a time. My Samsung does not have any burn in or ghosting issues with Destiny. It may have some residual artifacts for a minute or two afterward, but nothing beyond that. I can wipe it if I need to, but never had the need. I guess I've been fortunate. However, I enabled pixel shift when gaming...which may explain that. Had to disable pixel shift for Titanfall due to screen tearing though.
Plasmas are officially dead now. Too expensive for Panasonic, Samsung, and LG to make 4K plasma units. They currently have the best 1080p picture quality compared to LED LCD and projection. Only OLED 4K brand new models have better picture quality right now.
To OP: your VT-60 is awesome man. They were discontinued and sold out, so my only option was the new king...the PNF8500. Pretty similar. People that laugh at plasma just do not understand, which is fine.

Edited by Zukiwuki: 11/19/2014 6:52:17 PMReally the only problems most people see with plasma is the burnt in images, the heat, and the weight. They are excellent TVs but they just aren't low maintenance like other TVs

Power consuming monster...the heat!

Because samsung is master race, I don't get why people think Sony is so good.
