No, then everyone would become level 30 without having to get raid gear... THINK!

Well they are both random except you can buy exotic armor once a month but you still have to earn the strange coins you use to buy them. On the other hand exotics take so much longer to level up all the way where as the raid gear levels up almost all the way just by running the raid again. (And don't forget there are not any exotic boots and with the expansion level 30 will be nothing and exotics only get 30 light maxed out)

If you had all exotics on, you'd be unlocking abilities that'd make PvP even worse for everyone who isn't that good at it. I'd be all for it in PvE, since the AI doesn't complain about unfair accolades on their foes...

I agree with that but I also think the matchmaking needs to have a betters pairing system so that new players aren't playing the beta testers in online matches because more often than not the beta testers are going to slaughter the new kid

But I do agree that they should pair people who have similar stats rather than throw a bunch of "noobs" against people who go like 40/5
