Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night.
Yup, but only because of what can be inside of the dark, not the dark itself.

I'm more afraid of what my mind thinks is in the dark

It's not that it's dark it's what hides in it I'm afraid of
fuçking tables and chairs will attack you even more than in the day
I live in the ghetto. There are only eyes in the dark.

No, I live in a suburban, largely middle-class neighborhood, who's rsidents are as white they pretend to be not secretly racist. The only thing I'm afraid of is the Bible-bearing crusaders that come to tell me about JEEEEESUUUUUUUUUUS! And they only come in the day.
-
Not the dark, but the creepiness my mind decides to think about.
-
Im scared of my imagination

That's when I feel at ease. Especially when the temperature is rather cool. Plus, it's fun to see your vision slowly adapt to the darkness.
