Yes and No. I was bored with it after trying the raid and not having fun with it (forever 29 haha), which left me with, as you mentioned, just running the same strikes over and over. The only thing that kept me at that point was an exotic bounty (Bad Juju). That the yes. The No comes in when I took an extended break from the game. I came back to rediscover why I had played so much by creating a second character (titan to warlock). The new playstyle and abilities reeled me in. Then lack of shards frustrated me. But after another break and another character I was back after not too long. Seems like in most cases taking a step back and giving yourself some time helps immensely. I too am awaiting new content, but until then I will be play sporadically.
