We all know one thing, not everyone's reason will be the same. But it's simple, it's a RPG, as in role playing. Those that utilize the game will not understand why someone is playing a role that is not theirs per se. I happen to be one of these, I project myself through my character just for more fun. So from my perceptive, it's odd to project myself as a woman, when I'm not. I meet a female game character, but the voice associated with it is deep with a hint of gravel to it. Very strange, tends to ruin the fantasy of it all. Now that being just 1 side. The other side is that it's a video game and it's not that big a deal, anyone who is opposed to males playing as females, or vica versa, is just being silly and should be ignored. The world is a varied and multicultural place and most humans will always find a way to walk the line, and not be yoked. There's an indomitable freedom to the human spirit with a certain spark of revolution at its center. One that I hope never goes out...
